I transferred my State Farm policy from Ohio to Pennsylvania in March 2025. Although I was driving the exact same vehicle, my premium increased by more than $100 per month. After months of paying the higher premium, Chris Ziance helped place me with Gainsco, a sister company of State Farm, at a much lower rate while his agency continued servicing my policy.

Unfortunately, my experience with Angelique has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

During my transfers of insurance policies, the documentation showing my prior continuous insurance coverage was never properly requested or submitted. Because of this, I began receiving repeated notices from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation stating that my vehicle registration could be suspended for an alleged one-day lapse in insurance. To my knowledge, there was never an actual lapse in coverage.

I relied on Angelique to resolve the issue, but it dragged on for approximately eight months. During that time, I continued receiving letters threatening to suspend my registration, require me to pay a $500 civil penalty, or surrender my license plate. The amount of stress, time, and effort required to deal with a problem that I believe should have been prevented was overwhelming.

In June, I purchased a BMW and my insurance premium nearly tripled. I immediately told Angelique the premium was far too high and asked her to look for lower rates. She told me she would research other options and get back to me, but she never did. Instead, I found another insurance company on my own for less than half the premium I had been quoted.

To make matters worse, I was sent billing information indicating my first payment under the new policy would not be due until late August. Then, only a short time later, I received notice that the much higher premium would instead be automatically withdrawn the very next day. This was extremely frustrating after I had already asked for help lowering the premium and never received a response.

After obtaining my new insurance, I politely contacted Chris and asked him to cancel my State Farm policy. I explained that my issues had consistently been with Angelique, not with him personally.

The final issue occurred when my new insurance company needed declaration pages and proof of prior coverage from both Gainsco and State Farm. We called Gainsco together on a three-way call, and they immediately emailed the required proof of coverage and a letter of experience.

We then called State Farm. Angelique immediately became rude toward both me and my new insurance representative. She stated that she had to "apply" for a declaration page and that it could take seven to ten days to receive it. She also told me Chris was unavailable and refused to let me speak with him. The call ended with her hanging up on us without providing the documents we needed.

As a result, I spent hours trying to obtain paperwork that should have been readily available. I may now have to miss work to continue resolving a problem that has caused me months of unnecessary stress. Without timely proof of prior coverage, I was concerned it could affect my new policy and create additional problems regarding my Pennsylvania vehicle registration, despite having paid my insurance premiums on time.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend working with Angelique. I have experienced repeated delays, poor communication, and unresolved issues that consumed countless hours of my time. While Chris was courteous when I spoke with him, I was disappointed that the ongoing problems I raised regarding my interactions with Angelique were never resolved.

I sincerely hope other customers receive better service than I did. I personally believe this woman knows who I am by stalking my social media profile and targeting me personally due to her own jealousy issues. This is complete failure of a licensed insurance agent causing intentional repeated problems for a year and a half in my life and with my car insurance."
